The Licensing Executives Society International (LESI Inc.) is an association of 31 societies, each composed of men and women who have an interest in the transfer of technology, or licensing of intellectual property rights - from technical know how and patented inventions to software, copyright and trade marks.

Within LESI Inc. there is a grouping of LES national and regional societies in Europe. This grouping is discussing issues of common interest on a regular basis. Before each LES International Delegates meeting, there is a meeting of the LES European national Presidents. The Chair of this grouping is the President of the LES Society that is organizing either the LES International Conference or the Pan-European Conference.

• For the year 2007, the chair will be Mr. Felix Grether of LES Switzerland; after the LESI Conference in Zurich it will be Mr. Lex van Wijk of LES Benelux
